Lawrence Woodmere Academy High School (LWA) Senior Aiden Best is an extraordinary student. He has worked hard his entire life building his path for his future. He is mature beyond his years and has already distinguished himself as a student athlete, entrepreneur, and a community activist.

Aiden distinguished himself academically by taking vigorous AP course, as he achieves honors and maintains a 3.5 GPA. Aiden is an instrumental part of the school choir and has performed at prestigious venues, such as Carnegie Hall. His kind graceful demeanor has given joy to his fellow peers, administrators, coaches, and parents.

As an athlete, Aiden has sought after every opportunity for competition. While playing 4 years of Varsity basketball at LWA, and 2 years of J.V. Football (MVP) at Long Island Lutheran Middle School (LUHI) Aiden has proven himself of being a full rounded student athlete. Aiden has scored big numbers, received several accolades, and won numerous championships and awards. 

 NYC Rucker Park - Champion & MVP; 2019; Nike IS8 - Runner-Up & All Star; Zero Gravity Nationals - Champion;  Dyckman Park - Champion;  Joakim Noah Classic - Semifinals; Tillary Park Funsport - Semifinals; Rumble in the Bronx - Runner-Up;  Northsport Zero Gravity – Champion; 2019 NY Metropolitan District – Champion & MVP; Riverbank State Tournament - Champion; Island Garden Super League - Champion & MVP;  As a Freshman NYSAIS Basketball Champion 2018-2019.
